EXTERIOR

This facelift E46 looks fantastic in Sparkling Graphite Metallic, the paintwork presenting with a lustful shine having just been treated to a full machine polish by our in-house detailer. The car is arrow-straight along both sides, the xenon headlights are nice and clear, and all the exterior trims remain in first-rate condition; the electric folding soft-top is also excellent with no discolouration or damage to note. Being an M Sport model the car boasts sleeker, more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and a slightly lower ride height for an overall more commanding presence. A fantastic example overall looking every bit the low mileage of just 55k.

INTERIOR

The M Sport cabin is a great place to be. The leather upholstery retains a soft textured finish and is free from any signs of major wear, even to commonly worn areas such as the driver’s bolster. Finer details like the delicate centre console trim and switchgear are also in great shape with only a few very minor marks to note. The original BMW CD player remains fitted having never been replaced with an aftermarket unit, all the electric seat adjustments work as they should, and the footwell carpets are still protected by a set of genuine BMW overmats. At the rear of the car the boot area is very clean with no marks or stains to the carpet, and the wind deflector is also present.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 3-litre straight-six is the pick of the bunch, offering effortless silky-smooth driving while still packing a punch when you need to get a shift on. The auto ‘box is a perfect match for the 330 with almost undetectable gear changes. Under the bonnet the engine bay presents exceptionally with no signs of any damage or previous poor repair. The car was most recently serviced in January 2022 at 52,691 miles and has just been fully inspected for the new keeper’s peace of mind.

WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES

The factory 18-inch MV2 alloys are in great condition with only a few small kerb marks on the rear wheels to report on close inspection. The wheels are shod in premium tyres all round, with Pirelli PZeros at the front and brand new Continentals at the rear. The brakes were also checked on arrival with us and remain in fine operational condition, recently benefitting from new rear calipers and new master cylinder DSC pressure sensors.

HISTORY FILE

First registered in July 2005 this attractive 3.0 M Sport convertible has now driven only 55k miles from new. Within the accompanying History File the lucky new owner will be presented with the BMW leather document wallet, owner’s manuals, service booklet, maintenance invoices, MOT certificates, a spare key, and the V5C showing 6 former keepers.
