Quite simply this is what happens when a respected Ferrari specialist demonstrates what is possible with no expense spared, to have the perfect 308 GTB.

Modified to show, renowned Ferrari Specialist, Rardley customers what they could do for those who wished to have a fast road car or go to the track.

Peter Raven and Mike Lester, who both worked at Maranello, decided to form a partnership and that resulted in the founding of Rardley Motors. Peter was the engine builder for Maranello Concessionaires under Colonel Ronnie Hoare and went to Le Mans several times as part of the support crew. The experience gained whilst racing gave Peter all the knowledge he needed to prepare a car for the track.

The Rardley GTB was the fruit of that desire and went on to be used at Ferrari Owners Club track days only (no "racing") as a demo car for about 5 years. Never damaged.

Probably the best driving 308 on the road. It gives the driver immense satisfaction, carrying great speed through corners, with the brakes to match. There is never a worrying moment!
