A pristine and highly original early NSX boasting full Honda service history with 35 main dealer stamps, and just 38k miles from new.

EXTERIOR

This simply stunning example still wears its original coat a factory paint and remains in truly remarkable condition. Only passing through the hands of three keepers, and the last two being collectors, the car has almost always been kept inside and only driven on dry days. Consistent with the low mileage there are a few light stone chips to the front end which have been carefully touched in. Looking carefully around the car all of the plastic and rubber trims are in perfect condition and none of the lights have any cracks, chips, or damage.

INTERIOR

Inside is sure to be a delight for any NSX enthusiast as it presents in almost as new condition. The upholstery on the seats and door cards has no marks, the leather has its original satin sheen and it’s still soft to the touch. The steering wheel is free from marks and still retains its textured finish to the leather, the only signs of use being some very slight wear to the top of the gear knob and the tiniest mark on the armrest. The sun visors are still protected in their original factory plastic wrap. The carpets are all immaculate and still protected with the original NSX mats which show no sign of wear. The car has been fastidiously maintained at Honda so as you would expect everything works as it should including the ice-cold air conditioning. The rear luggage compartment is also immaculate with no marks to the carpets, still housing the original tools, dealer plates, CD changer and a very rare original Honda bonnet bra which could be fitted to the front to prevent stone chips.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Amazingly this example has always been maintained within the Honda main dealer network with a staggering 35 Honda stamps across three maintenance booklets. The last service was done in November this year and was the full cambelt service including water pump and valve clearances. The engine compartment itself is a real feast for the eyes as it looks absolutely immaculate. Due to the dry weather use, there are no signs of corrosion on any of the ancillary parts.

WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES

Like the bodywork on the car the wheels are still in their factory finish and have never been refurbished. As mentioned, the current owner has wanted to maintain the originality of the car and so there are a few light curb marks to report on close inspection. All the tyres have just been replaced with brand new Continentals. Looking in the wheel arches you can see the aluminium suspension components which are also in their original finish and again all free from any corrosion or oxidisation.

HISTORY FILE

This surely unrepeatable UK-supplied example was first registered September 1991. It was originally sold through Boston Honda (Manchester) and has now driven just 38k miles in the hands of only 3 fastidious owners, the current since 2004. The car is accompanied by the most impressive maintenance record we have seen having only ever been serviced at Honda with an astonishing 35 main dealer stamps, as detailed below. The cambelt has been changed four times over the car’s life and was most recently done alongside the last full service in November 2021, the invoice for this work totaling in excess of £2,700.

The History File is complete with the original Honda document wallet with all manuals, three fully stamped service booklets, a raft of main dealer invoices, every MOT certificate dating back to 1995 and, better still, the original bill of sale from Boston Honda.
