1980 Mitsubishi J58 Soft Top (SWB)

We are delighted to offer for sale this 1980 Mitsubishi Willys Jeep (J58) that we personally imported from Japan and have subsequently UK registered on 1 November 2019. This rare and sought after J58 model has the 1995cc petrol engine producing 100 bhp with only 18232 miles. Fresh from import, this Jeep was subject to a full engine service and lubricants change [by the Aston Workshop].

The body work was in great original condition but we thought it could benefit from a respray in Copper Metallic at our world class onsite Aston Workshop body shop. In 1953 Mitsubishi secured the rights to build the Willys under their own name and the Mitsubishi Jeep was born. In the United States the Willys was built until 1965 but in Japan Mitsubishi found great success in the versatile and rugged platform and so continued production until 1998. This light utility 4X4 is now ready for some all-weather off road fun or a roof down blast in the sun.
