Originally supplied by Haynes of Maidstone, I found this car in its home county of Kent.

This car belonged to, and was restored by a serial RS restorer, and collector, and only came to market to fund a home extension.

The car has been sympatetically restored to a very high standard, maintaining its originality wherever possible, but including a few sensible upgrades for modern traffic use.

All components were renewed or rebuilt.

The Pinto engine has a gas flowed head and a fast road cam for a little extra grunt, and is coupled to a type 9, 5 speed gearbox with a quickshift kit,which gives you much more relaxed motorway driving.

As you can see the underside was fully rotisserie restored, with very few new panels required. It was then stone chipped and painted body colour , with all cavities wax injected, making this a very useable show standard car

The car received NOS front wings,rear arches and door skins,all fitted to a very high standard,with perfect gaps,and then painted Signal Orange to a very high standard. The finish on the paintwork is exceptional.

Interior remains largely original retaining its uncut door cards . Its had a new parcel shelf ,headlining and the seats have been refurbished with new Aldridge foams and correct seat covers

The refurbished rims have been fitted with slightly wider 60 profile tyres

All in all , this is a very well restored,very useable example,whichs drives exceptionally well .
