Overview

There's something deeply satisfying about a performance crossover that's been properly sorted. This 2018 GLA 45 wears its AMG credentials with real conviction, the 2.0-litre M133 turbo four delivering a factory 381bhp before you factor in the reversible Stage 1 remap from Avon Tuning that lifts output to a claimed 421bhp. Paired with the 7G-DCT dual-clutch 'box and 4MATIC all-wheel drive, it's a package that puts its power down with genuine intent. The original ECU map has been retained, so reversibility is straightforward if that matters to you.

The current keeper has taken a clear aesthetic direction here, de-chroming the exterior in gloss black wrap and powder coating all four wheels in satin matt black.
