Overview
Aston Martin and motorsport will forever remain the closest of bedfellows, such is the Automaker's legendary love affair with winning races. Dating all the way back to 1922 when two cars were built to compete in the French Grand Prix, Aston Martin would go on to multiple motor racing successes, including winning Le Mans in 1959 at the hands of Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori. Trophies would consistently roll in from circuits all over the world, including the infamous Nurburgring, and Aston Martin continues to be a dominant force in the world of motorsport.
And it's the success of the competition V8 Vantage GT4 in the VLN endurance championship at the aforementioned Nurburgring that was the inspiration for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10. Named for the class that the GT4 competed in, the SP10 featured a host of additional goodies over the recently launched V8S, including a subtly modified body kit offering improved aerodynamics and unique, Ceramic Grey paintwork with forged black alloys and black brake calipers to boot, making it a really rather special and incredibly rare addition to Aston Martin's already impressive oeuvre.
This 2014 example is the rarer still Roadster model and therefore features a swanky Titan Grey folding roof for those perfect summer road trips. Well-specified and coming to market in superb overall condition having covered just a shade over 26K miles from new, the car presents beautifully throughout. Complete with excellent Aston Martin main dealer service history, Aston Martin Heritage Trust “One of One” certification and a long MOT this stunning Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 Roadster has clearly been cherished and is reportedly driving well with everything working as it should. We think it’s a fabulous way to enjoy the summer.

Summary
The V8 Vantage S was and still is a stunning car but the SP10 builds upon its excellent characteristics with some very welcome tweaks and that highly desirable six-speed manual gearbox upping the engagement factor for those looking for a more involving experience. Achingly beautiful, awesomely powerful and especially rare, this well-maintained Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 is a little bit special to say the least.
