Overview

Bentley recently made waves online with its spirited “full send” shenanigans showcasing the new Supersports model with adrenaline junkie and all-out maniac Travis Pastrana behind the wheel.  Indeed, the revered auto maker continues to proliferate the already impressive legacy that the original Continental GT set in motion way back in 2003, proving once again that it can produce truly exciting, driver-focussed combustion-engined cars for a broad audience.  

In the words of Bentley itself the Supersports is “built for the most demanding automotive purists”, which is a statement that can just as easily be applied to the numerous iterations of its venerable Continental GT series, all the way from the first to the current and fourth generation, and sitting perfectly in the sweet spot between those early models and the later Hybrid examples is the second-gen Continental GT Speed, such as the one we have available here.

Introduced a couple of years into second-gen production the Speed featured an increase in peak power over the original car to 620bhp from its twin-turbocharged W12 engine. Further enhancements came in the form of uprated sports suspension, stability control and various styling tweaks, including 21" Speed wheels unique to the model, making an already impressively rapid and hugely capable grand tourer just that little bit extra, and it's all the better for it.

This particular 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed comes with low mileage, good main dealer and specialist service history and presents in excellent condition throughout. Clearly well-maintained – a fact evinced by its recent advisory-free MOT – and wanting for nothing with new parts fitted and work carried out when required, this Conti GT is fully serviced, reportedly driving well and ready to go.
