Overview
With today’s new cars seemingly getting larger and larger with each generation, Porsche’s Boxster (and its stablemate, the Cayman) has long provided a refreshing antithesis to this phenomenon, retaining its nimble footprint, two-seat, mid-engined configuration meaning that it still feels at home on our small and narrow roads, still fits in a car park space, and still allows for plenty of fun without needing to visit a purpose-built racetrack.
The 718-generation Boxster was controversial at the time of launch for using a turbocharged four-cylinder flat-four engine, deviating from Porsche’s traditional flat-six setup. However, out in the real world, these turbocharged engines provide plenty of punch and a well-regarded tractable power curve, meaning they offer much of the fun of the flat-six without needing to be wrung out to the redline to appreciate it.
If you’re looking for a weekend toy, summer cruiser or even an engaging (and impressively practical, thanks to its two luggage compartments) daily driver, then you’d be hard-pushed to do better than a Boxster. And as luck would have it, here we have one such example which looks great in a striking shade of blue which has been recently serviced.

Summary
An engaging daily driver or fantastic weekend toy, the Boxster has long found its place among the PH community, with its small footprint and usable power making them excellent fun on our twisting lanes and narrow roads, whilst the power band allows you to have plenty of fun behind the wheel without approaching license-losing speeds.
This example boasts a strong specification with numerous desirable options, and is finished in arguably one of the best colours for the 718 - Sapphire Blue Metallic. It would make an excellent addition to any driveway or garage, and will no doubt be plenty of fun for the summer too!
